Pumpkin Pear Pizza

Looking for a different pumpkin recipe? This is it. A combination of pumpkin and pear on a pizza base with a delicious spread. Pumpkin pizza anybody?

The Ingredients

350g spelt flour
7g dry yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 dl water
200g sour creme
200g pumpkin
1 pear
1 onion
100g beacon
200g brie or gorgonzola

The Dough
throw the dough ingredients together an knead

The Spread
mix the spices with the sour creme

The Topping
peel pumpkin into thin slices

slice the pear

Slice the onion finely© Mrs. Twinkle

cut beacon into 1 cm stripes© Mrs. Twinkle

and the brie into cubes© Mrs. Twinkle

Preheat the oven at 235°C.

Now it’s time to put it all together

Roll out the dough to fit the baking tray and fold it twice, put it in the tray and unfold. Don’t forget to put the baking paper in the tray first (I did, but luckily realized before I started with the spread). Smear the spread all over the base and the start with a layer of pumpkin followed by the onions, beacon, pear and on top of it all the cheese. Bake for 25 minutes.

As they say here “en guete!”
